There was no Jackpot winner of €1.300.

The Numbers Drawn were: 17 19 20 22

The small draw winners were:

There was no Jackpot winner of €1.450.

The numbers drawn were: 09 15 21 22
The small draw winners were:

CONGRATULATIONS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Congratulations: to David O'Flanagan,Cork Road, Durrow and Joanne Lovegrove, Howth,Dublin on their recent marriage.

THANKYOU: a big thankyou is extended to all who gave so generously to the Rehab Foundation collection recently. The total amount collected in Durrow was €321.13 and all monies collected will go towards people with disabilities.

COMMUNITY NOTICEBOARD:

DANCE CLASSES: Aisling Walsh, Dance Academy will continue in Durrow Community Hall on Tuesdays from 6pm to 7pm for three to six year olds and from 7pm to 8pm for seven years to teenagers.

LITTLE OAKS PARENT AND TODDLER GROUP: We are meeting every Tuesday mornings from 10.00am to 12.00pm in the Presentation Centre (left side of the Catholic Church). All mums and dads are welcome to join us for a cuppa. Please Note: The Group will be running in June and July but will be taking a break in August (back on Tuesday 2nd September). Thanks to everybody who is coming.

ABBEYLEIX FURTHER EDUCATION CENTRE: Post Leaving Certificate FETAC Level 5. Courses commence September 2008. Nursing Studies, Fashion Design, Business Studies Secretarial, Business Admin with ECDL, Arts, Craft, Design, Portfolio Preparation. New Courses: Community Care, Media Production and Business Admin with Telesales. Enrolment Evening: Monday 16th May from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. Applicants must be over 16 years of age. PLC maintenance grants are available for qualifying participants.

VOTE FOR THE CHILDREN: Vote for Laois Children’s Respite, Mountrath, Co. Laois. Text ABBEYLB to 53099. This is part of the AIB Bank Better Ireland Programme.

DURROW SATURDAY MARKET: Home baking and fresh vegetables are available every Saturday from 9.30am to 12.30pm in the Computer Centre.

NURSERY PROGRAMME: A continuation of the Nursery Programme which took place in Cullohill Community Hall during the Winter months commenced last Monday evening. The Nursery Programme is targeted at boys between the age of four and seven years and concentrates upon developing skills in agility, balance, co-ordination, running jumping in conjunction with ball skills in throwing, passing, striking, catching, and blocking, the Programme commenced on Monday last and will continue for six weeks every Monday at 6.30pm in Durrow. All are welcome. A helmet would be a help (older brothers) but not essential.

THIRD LAOIS DURROW SCOUTS
Plans are afoot to recommence our scout programme in September.
Leaders In order to do so we need Leaders in all sections- Beavers, Clubs and Scouts. Please give this matter serious consideration because if we don't
get any Leader Scouts in Durrow we may have to close. New Scout Leaders who complete all their Scout training now recieve a FETAC Qualification. If anyone is interested in joining as a Leader please contact Maureen Campion on (085) 1465572 or Angela Drennan (057) 8736419.

DURROW LIBRARY: Opening Hours Mondays and Wednesdays from 1.00pm to 4.00pm and 6.00pm to 8.oopm. Fridays from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Saturdays from 11.00am to 1.00pm. used stamps can still be given to the Librarian on any of the opening days.`
