The St Fergals College won the All Ireland Semi Final Hurling clash with Roscrea by nine points. Congratulations to Captain Conor Dunne, his Harps Team counterparts and all the team in doing our locality proud. Best of luck in the Final.

A further page has been added to the Tourist Information section. The new page "Things to See" features the nearby IRISH FISHING AND SHOOTING MUSEUM at Attanagh. Well worth the visit.

"I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud" I wandered lonely as a cloud That floats on high o'er vales and hills, When all at once I saw a crowd, A host, of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze. Continuous as the stars that shine And twinkle on the milky way, They stretched in never-ending line Along the margin of a bay: Ten thousand saw I at a glance, Tossing their heads in sprightly dance. The waves beside them danced; but they Out-did the sparkling waves in glee: A poet could not but be gay, In such a jocund company: I gazed---and gazed---but little thought What wealth the show to me had brought: For oft, when on my couch I lie In vacant or in pensive mood, They flash upon that inward eye Which is the bliss of solitude; And then my heart with pleasure fills, And dances with the daffodils. William Wordsworth

Heard that The Harps fired over another 17 points in a challenge match this weekend. Great to see the club racking up such admirable scores in early spring. Keep it going lads!

Why do sad people waste their time putting up stupid messages here. I do command the delete button you know. Why don't you put your time and effort into doing something good for your community instead of vandalising everything good in the community? Are you that lonely? Do you really need that much attention? I bet you are the type of fool that goes around saying "this place is sh!te", "nothing to do around here", "this place is a dump" and so on... If you are that down on the place, try doing something to IMPROVE it, not DESTROY it. Are you getting the message fool? And don't even bother to type back another stupid comment. I'll just hit the delete button again. Fool.

Good to hear that schools in Cullohill and especially Durrow have three people in each school coaching hurling. DURROW COACHES: Gabby Irwin, John Alley and Jimmy Joyce. CULLOHILL: Joe Deegan, Pat Barnaville and Margaret Murphy. Good stuff lads and ladies. With your leadership, time and generosity we can look forward to a generation of kids coming through in a few years. Keep it up!!!
